Welcome to the MML Calendar page!

Voting is now open! Click here to vote for your favorites

Basic Info

Every year, a wall calendar is put together for the Mopar Mailing List. MML members send me photos of their vehicles which are posted on this web site, and then MMLers vote on their favorites. The top 12 photos make it into the calendar (one per month).

How it works is a call is put out on the MML for submissions, which MMLers must e-mail prior to the deadline. Then, they are put together a web site on which MMLers can vote, and this voting period lasts one week, after which time the winners are announced, some brief information is collected from the winners to print along with their winning photo (if desired) in the calendar such as their name, location and the year/make/model of their vehicle.

Submitting Photos

Reminder: Only one photo per vehicle will be accepted.

Only one photo per vehicle will be accepted for voting. So, go through your photos, get the opinions of your family & friends if you like, then go ahead and send what you consider to be your very best photo for the voting.

Note: You are welcome to submit multiple vehicles for consideration, however please note that only one of your vehicles will make it into the calendar. For example, if you submitted two vehicles, the first of which gets voted into the #3 spot, and the second gets voted into the #10 spot, the #3 would make it into the calendar, the #10 would be thrown out, and whoever ended up at #13 would then move up into the #12 spot. The exception to this rule would be if for some reason we didn't get enough submissions for there to be a #13 spot, but this is not likely.
Digital Photographs:
You can e-mail digital photos to Jeffthomasson@comcast.net

It is important that the resolution of the photo be high enough for printing. A photo that looks great on your computer may look extremely bad when blown up to print size. The minimum recommended resolution is approximately 2200x1700; that's a print size of 11x8.5" at 200dpi. This would equate to a 3.7 megapixel camera at its highest settings. If you are going out to take photos of your vehicle, the absolute minimum camera which will work for the calendar will be somewhere around 3.5 megapixels. You must also be sure to set your camera at the absolute highest, best quality settings. That's the largest picture size possible and the least amount of compression. (Sometimes the digital camera manufacturers refer to the compression in terms of quality such as "fine", "superfine", etc. You should set it to "superfine", or whatever is the absolute best quality available on your camera.)

If any of the above is not clear, or if you have any questions, comments, problems, etc. please contact Jeffthomasson@comcast.net

Thanks!
